Bart Yates

Bart is an Executive Producer and a founder of Blinkink & Blink Industries, a hybrid entertainment studio and commercial production company that specialises in innovative mixed-media filmmaking and animation. They create content that looks and feels like no other, bridging the gap between entertainment and brand culture.

Blinkink makes advertising, music videos and short-form content for top international agencies, record companies, broadcasters & direct-to-brand. Blink Industries develops and produces original long-form TV, Film & Games with major streamers, studios and networks in the UK and US.

Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Bart started his career in music and advertising, prior to founding Blinkink in 2005. Over the last two decades he has shaped the evolution of their talent, culture and capabilities as they’ve grown into one of the UK’s top indie studios.

Along the way they’ve won BAFTAs, Annies, UKMVAs, and an Emmy, alongside multiple advertising awards including the Cannes Lions Grand Prix, D&ADs, and British Arrows. Project highlights include music videos with Iron Maiden, Gorillaz and Elton John, the BAFTA-winning cult puppet horror comedy series 'Don't Hug Me I'm Scared' for Channel 4/youtube, an Emmy-award winning episode of Netflix’s ‘Love Death + Robots’, and commercials including John Lewis' animated classic 'The Bear & The Hare’, the embroidered BBC World Cup trailer ‘The Tapestry’, and Harvey Nichols’ Cannes Lions Grand-Prix winning 'The Shoplifters’.
