Ty Stiklorius is founder & CEO of the management, entertainment & impact firm, Friends at Work, an Emmy® Award-winning producer, and partner of Get Lifted Film Co., who blends her passion for the arts with a deep commitment to making the world a better place. Ty is redefining what it means to be a woman and a leader in the entertainment industry. With a client roster that includes global superstar John Legend, four-time Grammy nominee Charlie Puth, Arooj Aftab, The National, Genia, Bren Joy, Steve Hackman, Zia Victoria, fashion designer Casey Cadwallader and lawyer, Neal Katyal, Ty’s influence spans music, film, culture, and social activism.
A proud mother of two teenagers, Ty balances her business ventures with her passion for advocacy. She is the co-founder of the criminal justice reform initiative, Free America, and a fierce champion for women, diversity, equity, and inclusion, environmental sustainability (particularly the fight against ocean plastic), and wellness. Her holistic approach to artist management emphasizes long-term partnerships that not only foster artistic success but also encourage artists to use their platforms for altruism, helping them stay grounded and balanced.
She believes in the power of teamwork, and Friends at Work reflects this philosophy—Ty has built and empowered a team that is central to the success of her artists and initiatives. Ty’s career is marked by defining moments, from her surreal experience onstage during the Best Picture mixup at the Oscars for ""La La Land"" to being consistently recognized by Marie Claire, Billboard, and Variety as one of the most powerful and impactful women in entertainment. Her work in criminal justice reform has earned her honors from organizations like the Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth.
