A DJ/Producer from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia motivated by bass and serious riddims, the goal for The Acquaintance (Abdulmalek) is building community and to ensure that the crowd’s having a good time. Enamoured and inspired by the UK sound — Malek incorporates UKG, DnB and Garage House into his playing, creating an infectiously energetic environment. With a humble number of significant events under his belt, he seeks to further expand his reach and enrich the Kingdom’s ever-growing music scene.
