Description
Ray Winkler is a UK-registered architect and CEO of STUFISH Entertainment Architects. With over 25 years of experience, designing live touring shows, theatrical projects, and large-scale events such as the London 2012 Handover at the Beijing Olympics as well as live TV productions for MTV and VH1. He has collaborated with major artists such as U2, Beyoncé, The Rolling Stones, Madonna, BlackPink, Cirque du Soleil.
Notable projects include Adele's concert in Munich (featuring the world's largest LED screen), Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, and Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour. One of his most high profile and innovative projects was the groundbreaking projects, ABBA Arena, which opened in May 2022 in London, blending digital avatars with live music in a 3,000-capacity demountable venue.
Ray was appointed William Henry Bishop Visiting Professor at Yale School of Architecture in 2023, leading the "Advanced Design Studio: The Future of Entertainment." With STUFISH’s permanent buildings in China, the ABBA Arena in London, and numerous global shows, Ray continues to push the boundaries of entertainment architecture, combining artistic creativity with leadership to deliver exceptional experiences.
