Noemi Spanos

As Creative Director at Carnival Films, Noemi Spanos leads the company’s development slate, overseeing the creation, development, and acquisition of new projects. She plays a key role in managing Carnival Films’ existing talent relationships and in building new partnerships with leading producers, directors, and writers to bring fresh, compelling stories to market.

Before joining Carnival Films, Noemi was Managing Director and Executive Producer at Euston Films. She first joined the company in 2014 as Head of Development, where she was instrumental in shaping Kate Harwood’s creative vision. Promoted swiftly to Executive Producer, she worked across a number of high-profile productions for the BBC, ITV, Hulu and Starz. Drawing on her strong network of creative talent, she built an independent development slate that led to the commission of “Night Sleeper” for BBC One and her subsequent promotion to Joint Managing Director.

Earlier in her career, Noemi held roles across both the BBC and the independent sector. She has script-edited and produced several long-running continuing dramas, and held Development Executive positions at Kudos Film & Television, BBC Drama, and BBC Drama Commissioning.
