Liz Bacelar

Liz is the Global Head of AI at Under Armour, recruited by the CTO to launch the company’s first AI division. She leads a multidisciplinary team driving enterprise-wide transformation through AI. Previously, she built The Estée Lauder Companies’ first IT Global Innovation Team, co-managing an AI Lab with Microsoft and launching an internal AI University. Liz began her career as an Emmy-nominated journalist before transitioning into tech, where she founded Decoded Fashion and The Current Global—both acquired ventures. With dual master’s degrees in broadcast journalism and blockchain technology, she blends creativity, technical fluency, and strategic vision. She’s passionate about Web3, sustainable technologies, and the responsible adoption of AI.
