Kwadwo currently leads Akuna Wallet, an inclusive digital wallet purpose-built to support and empower Africa’s creative economy. Akuna Wallet is eliminating global payment barriers to empower African content creators, artists, musicians, designers, and other digital workers to transform their imagination into income by getting paid directly from international platforms — faster and more affordably.

Kwadwo’s prior experience is in Fintech and Investment Banking, and most recently was the CEO Country Lead (Ghana) for Paystack, a Stripe-owned fintech empowering businesses across Africa to collect payments from all over the world. Since expanding to Ghana, he helped establish Paystack as a leading fintech & payments company, enabling thousands of businesses—from startups to global brands—to process millions of paymentsdaily. He has prior experience working in Investment Banking, executing deals in equity and debt capital markets in Africa. Kwadwo also co-founded Moonshot Venture Partners (MVP Africa) to invest and support early-stage tech and tech-enabled startups across Africa.
