Devika Thapar

Devika Thapar is co-founder of Wilbe, the first full-stack venture firm for scientists building the future. Wilbe brings together market intelligence, community, venture tools, capital, and lab space to help world-class scientists turn breakthroughs into high performance companies. Each year, thousands of scientists from leading institutions - from MIT to Oxford - and industries engage with the platform. Its portfolio includes Apoha (sensory computing), ExpressionEdits (protein therapeutics) and Proxima Fusion (Europe’s fastest growing fusion startup).

Before starting Wilbe, Devika was head of new products at IBM Watson in New York and prior to that at Yale's Tech Transfer Office operationalizing a program of spinout evaluation. She began her career in management consulting with Accenture India. Devika completed her MBA from Yale University and a BA in economics from St. Stephen’s College India.
