Description
Stefan Mahendra is a South London based artist and producer, hailing from the rich cultural heritage of his Sri Lankan father and German mother. Inspired by the vibrant sounds of D'angelo, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, and Stevie Wonder, the first major turning point in his career came with a sold out show at the Jazz Club in Holborn followed by a similarly sold out show at the legendary Ronnie Scott's. In July 2023, he released his debut EP 'Sentiments', which was featured on Spotify and Apple Music curated playlists, the Joe Budden Podcast and BBC Radio 1's Future Soul show. Stefan opened for US soul sensation Jarrod Lawson and soul artist October London on their sold out UK tours, playing venues like the Shepherds Bush Empire and Birmingham Town Hall. His highly anticipated second EP is due for release in late 2025.
