Sam Louis is a Canadian artist rewriting the rules of Alt Pop from Toronto to Los Angeles. As a singer-songwriter and emotional curator, Sam’s music is more than just noise – it's an experience. With a string of sold-out showcases and international sync placements under his belt, Sam's success speaks volumes. He's not just another artist; he's a top 100 semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and proud winner of an Indigenous Music Award for Best Pop Album. Sam has also received national recognition for placing in the top 50 of Canada's Got Talent in 2023. His music has been featured on popular playlists like Spotify's "New Music Friday", YouTube's "Pop Before it Breaks" & Amazon's "Brand New Music." While his past single, "No More Running," won and received honourable mention in the UNSIGNED ONLY competition for the ROCK and AAA categories, leading him to sign his first publishing deal with TRO Essex Music Group (The Who, Black Sabbath). This past summer Louis released his first studio album 8 Ball which was featured in BILLBOARD, SPIN Magazine, Music Connection and Rotate This as an emotional odyssey for the generations.
