A major new talent, 19-year-old Marti Perramon was born in Spain before settling in South London. After his parents separated Marti joined school without knowing a word of English: he proved, however, fluent in melody, absorbing everything from his Mum’s tradition of flamenco to bedroom prodigies like Dominic Fike or Omar Apollo. Self-taught all the way from the words to the music, Marti Perramon now marries that hyper-sensitivity of his outsider-status with borderless musicality: a feel-good but often in-your-feels blend, traversing alt-pop, R&B, hip-hop and wherever his head is at in the ever-changing moment.
