Description
Aube Perrie directed the extraordinary, thought-provoking video for Fontaines D.C.’s album’s lead single 'Starburster’. The video opens with frontman Grian Chatten dressed as in a green tracksuit, wandering around his sleepy home town, killing time in his Groundhog Day routine. One day, his football rolls under a garage shutter and he accidentally discovers a portal to other worlds. The portal leads to other artists’s videos and films; as Grian crawls under, he becomes 'The Starburster’, trading his grey life for someone else’s, using every day as a new disguise just like an actor on set, wandering around in other artists’s videos as he pleases displayed in a mix of vignettes.
